Non-motorized Pilot Project Evaluation

Under the University of Minnesota, Center for Transportation Studies, the Active Communities group evaluated the Non-motorized Transportation Pilot Project (NTPP). Funded under Section 1807 of the federal SAFETEA-LU legislation, this project provides funding to four U.S. communities: Columbia, Missouri; Marin County, California; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. Interventions will include constructing non-motorized transportation facilities and promoting their use.

Ann Forsyth was an adviser on the first part of the evaluation.
